Forestry: Developing a Vital Resource The School of Forestry is offered excellent facilities at Mississippi State. This fall the school moved into the new offices and classrooms of Dorman Hall. Besides classroom work, the forestry program includes a great deal of work in the field, putting principles into prac- tice. The students have access to the Northeast Mississippi Experimental Forest, an 8,000 acre tract of land man- aged by the School of Forestry. This forest, well stocked with a variety of timber species and age classes, offers the student much practical experience toward becoming a competent forester. DEAN ROBERT T.
