school of forestry THE SCHOOL OF FORESTRY uses a combination of class- room and field work to give the best training available in this growing field. One of the newest schools at Mississippi State University, the Forestry School is training its men to provide Missis- sippi and the South with the expert foresters that are so badly needed. Every year there are more jobs available in this field than there are men to fill them. In addition to the fine facilities available on the campus, the school has the use of the 8000 acre Northeast Mis- sissippi Experimental Forest, which is owned by Missis- sippi State University. This young school is rapidly taking its place as one of Mississippi ' s most valuable assets. ASSISTANT DEAN ROBERT T. CLAPP 29
