Is Mr. West conducting the pep band in the Funeral March. Hail State, or Go to Hell Ole Miss?? Any of them would be appropri- ate. Miss. State ' s most ardent fan. Uncle Remes. is shown at a football game with Head-cheerleader Beard and Moor. He is probably telling the fans what kinda ' bacca he smokes, or how Blind Jim says. Ole Miss gotta good team as far as I can see. Wow!! Wow!! A press box view of the student section in Scott Stadium, also part of the game. If you look real hard you can see the Freshmen down front in their pajamas ready for the Cake Race. Cyo or a 5c CO With September comes a new school year . . . more parties . . . Football games . . . • • OL SPRING SEMESTER J 1954 Laziness, loafing. Spring fever or what ever you want to call it, hits the campus hard dur- ing the Spring. It ' s here all year, but everybody seems to think Spring is an excuse to sleep. Wonder what Tom Mix has to say about it. Bet his dreams are of a girl or a fifth or both. What class are you supposed to be in, Tom?? Every year there are numer- ous picnics, suppers, break- fasts, outings, wiener roasts, marshmallow toastings, or whatever other name they give to parties in the woods at Chotaw. Above is a pic- ture taken when the Band had a picnic at Chotaw last year. The so-called Chefs are Ramsay, Shinn, Butts, Crigler, and Woods.

5L FALL SEMESTER GIV ' EM HELL STATE! Give Who Hell? Why. give Ole Miss Hell of course. Here shows the Umps pacing off a few yards against the Hell- Hole Bums of the U. of M. But they seemed to count more against us as we came out on the short end of a 14-0 score. There was an over capacity crowd at the game as can be seen by the stands in the background. iriiiini ' ir ■ r JL» .•;-.■ .: • • X ■ tf x K I f5 lk 1 si ii | iftirti« ' t % s ' ' •- • . • • % • . ' ■ High School Day and thousands of high school kids wandering around the campus. Above can be seen a few of them strolling about. The line going by the REVEILLE office is the lunch line into the grill. Kind of disgusting to a college student who wants to eat dinner anytime after 10:00 and before game time. But we ' re glad they came, maybe a bunch of them will decide to come back to attend school here next year. (More cars). And like always there is a dance, after football games, on open weekends, and any other available time that won ' t interfere with another party.
