The new Library plays a major part in the life of the graduate student, for it is there that many unforgettable hours are spent in research and study for the thesis. IOLOGY BUILDING S C H L of S C I E N C E The School of Science is somewhat comparable to a School of Arts and Sciences in a Liberal Arts College. Not only are all phases of natural sciences, biological and physical, and pre-professional work taught, but one can also get a curriculum in English and in almost any option in the social sciences. No one need be turned away because of a lack of appropriate studies, or because he has not yet decided on his life ' s career. In the field of natural sciences there are curricula in Bacteriology, Botany, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Geography, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Pe- troleum Geology, Physics, and Zoology and Entomology. In addition to English there are options in the social sciences: History, Political Science, Philosophy and Religion, and So- ciology. Dean Etheredge is always there when needed and is will- ing to do anything he can to help his students.
