■a Biology Building SCHOOL o SCIENCE The School of Science, organized in 1903, is under the supervision of Dean Etheridge. It offers a Bachelor of Science degree in such major studies as Mathematics, the Physical Sciences, the Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, and Languages. The School also grants shorter, special objective courses, such as pre-medical, pre-dental, and pre-clinical training. Forward progressive steps have been made since the organization of the Science School- today it is an efficient unit of the College — recognized as one of the best of its kind.

i The School of Engineering comprises the depart- ments of Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineer- ing, Drawing, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering. The School of Engi- neering and the School of Business and Industry offer a joint five-year course leading to a Bachelor ' s degree in one of these majors — Civil, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering — and Busi- ness Administration. In addition, the School makes use of many other departments of the College to make it one of the most outstanding Engineering Schools in the nation. Dean Flinch is Dean of the Engineering School. The students in the School of Engineering are enjoying using the new Patterson annex which was named in honor of L. L. Patterson, Dean Emeritus of the School of Engineering. The Graduate School headed by Dean Drennon has established a record of very high standards within the School. The New Library plays a major part in the life of the graduate student, for it is there that many unforgettable hours are spent in research and study for the thesis.
