We, the members of the Reveille Staff and the members of the associ- ated Student Body of Mississippi State College, dedicate THE ALMA MATER EDITION of the 1952 REVEILLE to you, the high school students who will carry on the singing of Maroon and White . We will be leaving year after year and with us will go fondest mem ' ries of State College, but you will come and take our places, and as you sing Live Maroon and White forever. Ne ' er shall evil mar thy fame , we will sing Nothing us from thee can sever ; then all together we will sing, Alma Mater we acclaim . You will carry on the traditions and customs of State College. You will be the football team, the band, the officers of the student association, the beauties, the favorites; and we, the students of Mississippi State College send out a welcome to you and wish you luck as you enter Mississippi State College to the swelling strains of Maroon and White! Maroon and White! To thee with joy we sing; Thy colors bright, our souls delight. With praise our voices ring .
