ADMINISTRATION Major I. D. Sessums Whether Major Sessums be your friend or foe, it all depends on you. After all, don ' t we come to college to learn to be ladies and gentlemen? His wonderful leadership is for our purpose if only we will take advantage of it. If you follow Major, you can bet your conduct is on the road to success — or recovery. Dr. T. K. Martin Dr. T. K. Martin, a new member of the admin- istration of Mississippi State, is the man who keeps all the records of the school. In the short time that he has been here, he has proved himself capable and efficient in fulfilling the duties of this responsible position. Before coming to State, Dr. Martin taught at Georgetown College, L.S.U. and Peabody as a fellowship student. He received all of his college degrees from these schools. L. F. Mallory L. F. Mallory has filled the job as Comptroller ' s position for five years. Mr. Mallory has done an excellent job and shall continue to do so.

M ! N Dean Welch The School of Agriculture has steadily improved under the special care of Dean Frank Welch and associate Dean E. B. Colmer. These two men always have the interest of the students in mind and try to maintain the highest possible standard of learning for them. Students find these two men as friends, not only as teach- ers and advisors. They always find time to help a student in distress. He was born on a farm in Hunington, New Jersey. Mr. Flinch went to public school in New Jersey City. His secon- dary school and college learning were in Germany, where he graduated in 1933, six months after Hitler graduated. He returned to the U. S. and took graduate work at Uni- versity of Minnesota, where he took research and taught mathematics and Engineering. He received Masters and Doctors degree at University of Minnesota. Dean Weems Dean Weems, a former student, could not bear the thoughts of Mississippi State carrying on without him. After graduate study at Northwestern University, Louisiana State University, and Columbia University, he returned to Miss. State as Dean of the School of Business and Industry, where he has done and still continues to do a great iob.
