A good friend never lets uov down! Fall registration starts decision-making process Jaymee ' s experience: When I graduated from high school, I was going to marry a millionaire, or, go to Yale. As it turned out, I did neither. 1 ended up going to The Head , which was only 20 minutes away from my home. Instead of a mansion, I live in one room with three other girls — no men. The first day of school I remember how I rushed and rushed to be sure that I wouldn ' t be late for registration. When I got there, I waited and waited. All of us freshmen stood in line without saying a word, while the sophomores dressed and ate breakfast in line. Waiting in the administration hallway to get financial aid is all part of the routine. Counselors Ray and Baria worked overtime evaluating Pell Grant applicants. 6
