THE MODELING SQUAD The Modeling Squad, directed by Mrs. Jackie Franklin, held tryouts in both the fall and the spring. After an intensive drill in costume and acces- sory selection, and sessions on proper grooming and posture, the group presented shows in several of the Delta towns as well as on campus. They did a special show for Home- coming and for the Moorhead Ro- tary Anne banquet. A highlight of the spring season was the bridal show with outfits furnished by McRae ' s. 23

ORGANIZATIONS DELTA DANCERS Delta Dancers is a physical education per- forming dance group. During the year, they perform at some of the home basketball games, assembly pro- grams in the high schools in our support- ing county districts, and at various other functions. Both men and women are in- cluded in the dance group, and they usu- ally participate in at least 16 public perfor- mances. Two major performances are given on campus yearly— one at Christmas and one in the spring. The group is di- rected by Mrs. Betty Aden. Front (1. to r.) MDJC CHEER LEADERS The cheerleaders, se- lected in the spring, al- ways report to school early in the fall, and get right to work mapping out a busy season making up ingenious slogans for posters and planning spe- cial spirit rallies.
