hedicaticn Every school has its dynamic personality. On every campus there is the man who wins the respect of all students. Here at Mississippi Delta Junior College that man is Jimmy Bell i pa n n i . Coach Jimmy has served as teacher and coach at MDJC for seventeen years. During that time he has guided students both on and off the athletic field. His principles of good sportsmanship have been evident in actions as well as in words. His service to the college as a teacher, dean of men, basketball and football coach, counselor, leader in the community, and loyal supporter of faculty sponsored activities is immeasurable. Fellow faculty members as well as students have valued his friendship and guidance. It is for that reason the staff of the 1969 RETROSPECT proudly dedicates this annual to him. 16

The changes in campus attire are evident. As the hair grows longer the skirts grow shorter. The skirts are shrinking just about as fast as the hair is growing longer. One thing that is always new to the freshman is the bright red beanie which covers the bald head. YY Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y 15
