For Everything There Is A SEASON Life goes not backwards nor tarries with yesterday. It indifferently moves on, pausing not for any man. Invaluable time, never to be repeated throughout eternity, slips by. Whether used fruitfully or ivaste fully, once gone it is never to be regained. And so it is with time spent at Mississippi Delta Junior College. You were granted a time, a season and a place in which to adapt, to participate, to learn and to live. This time, with its achievements, disappointments, laughter and tears, has transpired. The knowledge you gained can be used in the future, for that ivas your basic purpose here, but the personal, intangible things can only be remembered. The months, days and hours at Mississippi Delta are recalled throughout these pages of the 1968 Retrospect. This ivas your Time.
