What ' cha trying to prove, son? This ain ' t Notre Dame, boys! Come on, Blackdog, you weren ' t running. Come on, men, let ' s hustle! Although he says he isn ' t Newt Rockne, S. J. C. is as much in- debted to Coach Randall as Notre Dame was to Newt. Coach Randall is a man of fine Christian character and one who believes there is always room for improvement. He gives his time unreservedly and sees that his players always get the best. To the coach who led his team to victory over Hinds; to the gentleman with the soft-spoken Southern drawl, and to the man who is helping to make a better S. J. C. , we of the 1956 Retrospect Staff are happy to dedicate this annual to our own coach, James B, Randall, Jr.
