Scott Lyle Hall of Fame Scott James Lyle, a math major from Cockeys- ville, MD, served as junior and senior class presi- dent, senate vice-president, treasurer, vice-presi- dent, and president of Circle K, vice-president of Alpha Lambda Delta, and president of Omicron Delta Kappa. He chaired the Food Service Commit- tee for two years, served for two years on the Spring Fever Day, Hall of Fame selection, Homecoming, and Elections committees. He was in the cast and was programs chairman for the musical OKLAHO- MA, served on the Student Guidance and Personnel and Lyceum Committees. He was named Senator of the Year, sophomore, junior, and senior class favor- ite, and received the Mortar Board Scholarship. He participated in the society of physics students math club, Pi Mu Epsilon, Mortar Board, BSU, and the college choir of First Clinton Baptist Church. Yvonne Woodard, a math major from Terry, MS, served as Nenamoosha historian and money-making chairman, sophomore class secretary, homecoming committee co-chairman, chairman and senior advi- sor, Math Club secretary, SBA secretary and Wom- en’s Affairs Board Chairman, Alpha Lambda Delta secretary. She served on the Hall of Fame Selection Committee and the Spring Fever Day Committee. She worked as a student recruiter and freshman orientation leader. She was in the chorus of the OKLAHOMA, and sang in the college choir of First Clinton Baptist Church. She participated in Alpha Chi, Pi Mu Epsilon, Sigma Tau Delta, and Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board. She recieved the W.E. Strange Math Award, a presidential scholar- ship, and the Spirit of Mobile Azalea Trail Award. She was chosen sophomore, junior, and senior class favorite. Von Woodard 27

Hall of Fame Jeffrey Robert Blackwell, a math major from Magee, MS, served as his freshman class vice-presi- dent, sophomore class vice-president, Civitan vice- president, SBA attorney, student body president, student recruiter, and Swannanoa beau. He partici- pated in Priority, BSU, Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Mu Epsilon, Mortar Board, Young College Demo- crats, and Intramural Athletics. He was chosen by his fellow classmates as freshman, and sophomore class favorite, and by the student body as Mr. Mis- sissippi College 1987-88. Stephanie Anne Farrar, an accounting major from Columbus, MS, served as freshman class trea- surer, as vice-president and president for Baptist Young Women, as reporter for Alpha Lambda Del- ta, as pledge president, vice-president for profession- al activities and senior vice-president of Delta Sigma Pi, as pledge president, display chairman, treasurer, and president of Laguna Social Tribe, and as vice- president of social activities of the MC Accounting Society. She served on the I Love America Day Committee, the freshman talent show committee, and worked as a freshman orientation leader, BSU family group leader, and student recruiter. She served on both the Hall of Fame and Founders Award selection committees and was on the Dean’s List all semesters. She received the 1987 Chapman Co.
