Homecoming Follies 1987 The third annual Homecoming Follies was held on October 23, in the Chester Swor Auditorium. The guys and girls in the service clubs and social tribes went all out in the effort to win bragging rights and cash for their club. The spectators, who filled the auditorium to capacity, were treated to six ten-minute skits, a song by Tammy Mangum, Miss MC 1987, and the crazy antics of mistress of ceremonies, Cindy Malone. Civitan’s skit “Wipe-out,” written and directed by Jeff Blackwell, took first place honors, and Laguna’s “Salute to the Working Women of WW II” won second. Mark Leggett chaired the Follies Committee, which was responsible for planning and putting together the show. Capucene Torrey and Suzanne Brand served as vice-chairmen of the committee. 12
