Watch Us Soar in ’84 homecoming Mississippi College. A tradition of excellence. Homecoming 1984 was a chance to reminisce about that tradition. Alumni came from all around to participate in the many activities. The week of Homecoming gave the students an opportunity to show their spirit by dressing up as Choctaws and Nerds and by decking out in blue and gold. Noon brought an Alumni Awards luncheon where the Golden Arrow and the Alumnus of the Year awards were presented. A special part of the Homecoming celebration was the parade.
