The big decision of the rushees (Which tribe is really Me?) was complicated by the excellent productions put on by all four tribes. Beginning with the journey through the Land of Laguna,” the rushees were treated with a take-off on the Wizard of Oz. Nenamoosha’s “The Giving Tree” featured a talking tree and “Elvis”, complete with back-up group. Kissimee celebrated its twenty-fifth year with a rush party spanning the ' 50’s, ’60’s, and ' 70’s. Swannanoa’s tongue-in-cheek spoof of Gone with the Wind — Come with the Breeze”— ended with a scene out of Star Wars. All in all, the hard work put into the efforts paid off beautifully. 22

Classes Clash Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what di- rection we are moving.” This was the goal of each class as they strove to be the winner in the “Clash of the Classes.” No member of any class simply stood there— they moved with spirit in every event. Some of the con- tests were pie-eating, balloon toss, bubble-gum relay, tricycle ice-buckets, and the great passing of the orange. The last and main event— the tug of war— determined the Seniors to be the overall winner.
