After the Lynx scored on the first series of plays, the Chocs began to roll, and Greenlee hit halfback Tommy Alexander with a 28 yard touchdown pass. In the second quarter Greenlee crashed over tackle to e T.D. to put the Chocs ahead to stay. ln the same period, after a 63 yard pass to Benson Holland, Greenlee tool: it around end for the score. Early in the fourth quarter Greenlee hit end Perry Baggett for another touchdown. After Howard scored two quick touch- downs, the Choctaws offense began to click. Led by Greenlee and Clem Stovall, the Chocs marched down the field with Stovall going over for the score. The next score came in the second quarter as Greenlee swept right end for five yards. ln the fourth quarter Paul Pounds lciclced a three yard field goal after a brilliant pass interception by Marvin Nesmith. The final M.C. score came in the fourth quarter when Charles Garrett snealced over from the one after Paul Pounds had recovered a fumble. M.C. led all of the game until the last minute when tailbaclc Wally Pinclcley led e 75 yard drive and then scored the t.d. himself. Sperlcing M.C. in their offensive efforts were Alton Greenlee and Barry Landrum. Greenlee scored the first touchdown of th night when he carried it over from the six yard line. Later Landrum scored from the eight. Sewanee's single wing attack was different from anything seen by the Braves this season and they had trouble coping with it.
