He is now called upon to direct its destiny through world-wide social, political, economic and religious upheavals, the extent of which the world has not seen before. He has shown himself a capable executive, and the many friends of Mississippi College ioin in wishing him continued success for the future. When the present holocaust of war has burned itself out the flickering and smoldering embers of national and international reconstruction will present many perplexing problems in the educational world. Our president, being a man of vision, is fully aware of the impending maladiustments and is now planning tor an expanded program in the post-war period.
