DAVID Q. BYRD, JR. President Faced with an entirely new type of student body, the Student Gov- ernment Association has carried on with typical efficiency. Adjusting the Honor System to fit the needs of both men’s and women’s campuses, taking charge of the successful Blue Mountain Endowment Campaign, revising the Constitution, officially awarding letters, holding regular and special elections have been some of the activities of the official governing organ of Mississippi College. This set-up in the school has been im- portant for many reasons, the chief of which is training in democracy. This vital service is recognized as invaluable to the student body because it has to face the issues of life in the near future. [ 14 ]
