7,A...7,, V ---HW '- : ' 'tv't ' Executive Officer Lieutenant Commander Ion A. Greene Lieutenant Commander Ion A. Greene was born Iune 22, 1959 in Phoenix Arizona. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981. He then attended Nuclear Power School in Orlando, Florida, the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Ballston Spa, New York and Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, Rhode Island. Lieutenant Commander Greene's initial sea tour was as Electrical Officer and, later, Reactor Training Assistant on USS TEXAS CCGN 391. Additional shipboard assignments followed as Combat Systems Officer in USS MOINESTER KPP 'l 0971 and as Reactor Electrical Assistant in USS GEORGE WASHINGTON CCVN 735. He has also served as an instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Ballston Spa, New Xerls and as a student at the Navy Postgraduate School in lNloiitercX California, graduating with a Master ot Arts in Nati01l-ll Security Affairs.
