They monitor the ship ' s ra- dars and radio cir- cuits and maintain an accurate plot of all surface contacts that are acquired via ra- dars. Alert detector- trackers man our air search radars ensur ing every aircraft within iOO miles is ac- quired and plotted. Others listen to radio circuits to receive instructions, ensue instructions to subor dinates and coordi nate various multt- ship evolution.
