This year ' s theme for the homecoming dance was Looks Like We Made It. The reigning court for the big event was (below) Linda Patterson. Junior Attendant; Tonya Lowden, Freshman Attendant; Wendy Rodriquez, Queen; Brenda Mor- iarity. Senior Attendant; and Connie Neeley, Sophomore Attendant. After a disappointing loss to Eastbrook High School, the dance was held in the cafeteria. The band playing was Cassady as in past years. The music stop- ped around eleven and the cou- ples left to enjoy the rest of the evening together. The Homecoming ' s activities were topped off with a powder puff football game won by the Junior and Sophomore classes. A parade through the town also highlighted the events of the eve- ning. The annual bonfire was held the night before the actual game in an effort to spirit the team into Memories of homecoming

€ .. »• I Jr. Miss Color my world played in the background while sixteen contestants promenaded around the stage for an audi- ence of several hundred people and a panel of judges. This was much the scene for the 1977 Junior Miss Pageant. Out of the sixteen three divided the awards. Shari Brown was the winner of the scholastic achievement bond %.. as well as the physical fitness award and placed as second runner-up. Kelly Esra won the talent competition and scored as first runner-up. At the end of a long talent and beauty filled evening, Gwynn Black was announced Junior Miss and also won the Poise and Appearance. 20 — Jr. Miss J
