SUPERINTENDENT ROBERT E. HOWE H.S. Graduate McKinley High in Ran- dolph County; BS and El. Ed., Indiana Central University; MA and EdS in Super- intendency, Ball State University. In his role of leadership, Superintendent Howe has gained the confidence and trust of his staff, the students, and the commu- nity. Before coming to our school, his experience as a classroom teacher, ele- mentary and middle school principal, act- ing superintendent, and school business manager prepared him for the challenges of managing a school system in today's economy. His persistence in accepting only the BEST from his staff has brought both excellence and pride in our school during the two years Mr. Howe has been here. MR. JERRY ARGABRITE: H.S East Liver- pool, Ohio; BFA, Ohio U.; MEd. Miami U. and EdS., Miami (completing). New dimen- sions in efforts and attainment have been the goals of Principal Argabrite during the three years he has been at our school. A MASTER TEACHER himself, he left St Ber- nard H.S. (their loss), and came to Mississi- nawa (our gain). Transmitting his own expertise in leadership and personal rela- tions, Mr Argabrite has been successful in encouraging students to reach higher goals ana teachers to attain excellence in their efforts to provide the classroom envi- ronment for building into every student the characteristics of the ALL AMERICAN YOUTH. Beginning this year with some changes in policies and the reestablish- ment of student participation in school gov- ernment, we saw better student attitudes and more active involvement in both curric- ular and co-curricular activities. We can proudly say that our school continues to be a forerunner in education.
