In a tropical garden of rainbow colors, ruled over by a Tiki god, juniors and seniors danced to the music of ABACUS. Sponsored by Miss Hopewell and Mr. Courtney, many long hours were spent in creating the hedges, the bam- boo hut, the bridges and the cave entrance Upon crossing the bridge and entering the cave that led to the garden, the real world was left far behind to the delight of the guests. Punch served in champagne glasses and hor d'oeuvres were enjoyed by the guests who were seated at candlelit tables Seniors Luann Stammen and Darrell Brey- mier were honored by the junior class to reign as queen and king over the 1980 prom. Guests were again entertained after the prom by the Rotary and Elks Clubs where they danced to the music of another band. Then came the dawn of a new day.
