d fationat c fonox The National Honor Society induction hiihlights the ending of another school year. Students from the sophomore through the senior levels whose academic accumulative averages are 3.0 or above, whose high school days have been filled with many hours of service to the school and to the community, whose leadership has been manifested in the successes and happiness they have helped fellow students to attain, and whose forthright and honest efforts have built for themselves strong characters for use in their lives now and in the future were chosen for this distinctive honor. Using candles as sym- bols of light and inspiration to guide the way for others, emotions ran high, tears of happiness and smiles of delight from proud parents produced memories that will remain for- ever for these honor students. Mrs. Dixie Marshall, of the English Department is the sponsor of this honor group. NEW MEMBERS - Rick Three wits. Jackie May. Karen Maschino, Rita Post. Rhonda Young, Bob Teegarden, Becki Bloyd, Phyllis Jerew, Mary Baker, Alice Stammen and Janie Wigger. Alice doesn't need the Brass to tell her what a great gal she really is. That gentle tap brought the world to Rita's feet. We all swallowed the lumps in our throats and brushed away the misty tears as we shared Jackie's happiness.
