Mr. Abrams has earned the respect of many students as his leaching goal is to make students better aware of industrial processes in each area covered, and to restore self- confidence. TOP RIGHT: During his first year of working with students in the OWA program at M.V.. Mr. Place's goal is to make young people better individuals and ready for the world of work. Four children and being a sports fan keep her busy but she still finds time to be Freshman Class sponsor and believes it's an honor and a privilege to teach the students of M. V. CENTER: Mrs. Halley has been helping each individual in her classes attain the highest proficiency of which he is capable of for ten years. This year she served as Senior Class sponsor. MRS. CONNIE WIEST Language Arts MISS BETSY SWIFT Librarian TOP: After a day of helping students acquire a lifetime reading habit, Mrs. Wiest enjoys sewing, reading and square dancing. TOP RIGHT: In her first year as the new librarian at M.V., Miss Swift has made many changes in the library, hoping to encourage better study habits for students, and make the library a more resourceful place. BOTTOM: Besides being the sponsor for National Honor Society, Mrs. Marshall enjoys reading and horseback riding in her time off from teaching 9th and 10th grade English.
