MRS. MARY HALLEY Typing I, Senior BOE. and Publications MRS. EMILY GATES Jr. BOE and Typing TOP: Twelve years of teaching experience here at M.V. has been the major accomplishment of Mrs. Gates. Four children and being a sports fan keep her busy but she still finds time to be Freshman Class sponsor and believes it's an honor and a privilege to teach the students of M. V. CENTER: Mrs. Halley has been helping each individual in her classes attain the highest proficiency of which he is capable of for ten years. This year she served as Senior Class sponsor. BOTTOM: Playing softball during the summer and being an assist- ant football coach in the fall help to make Mr. Rentz's schedule a busy one. MR. DICK RENTZ Accounting, General Business, Math 23

TOP: Sixteen years teaching experience and three college degrees have made Mr. Warvel an outstanding science teacher. His teaching goal is to encourage learning on a daily basis. CENTER: To create an interest in science and scientific reasoning is the teaching goal of Mr. Maul. His hobbies include being crazy and being outdoors. BOTTOM: As if being a member of the Mathematics Honor Society, fishing, hunting and being with his family isn’t enough. Mr. Butch has had six successful years as Reserve Basketball Coach. MR. Mr. Abrams has earned the respect of many students as his leaching goal is to make students better aware of industrial processes in each area covered, and to restore self- confidence. TOP RIGHT: During his first year of working with students in the OWA program at M.V.. Mr. Place's goal is to make young people better individuals and ready for the world of work. BOTTOM LEFT: Mrs. Hatton's goal is to encourage self-awareness and make the students develop an appreciation of the creativity and expressiveness in art.
