Vocational Agriculture is a combination of classroom instruc- tion and on the job training. This year the vo. ag. boys have pursued class areas in livestock feeding, soil judging, fertility practices, and economic condi- tions of agriculture products. On the job training is done in three general areas: 1. in the school shop, 2. on the home farm, and 3. on the job training by coop- erative education. MR. The freshman boys study the funda- mentals of drafting, do basic construction of the red barns, and work simple woodworking kits. The sophomore boys are taught advanced drafting and are introduced to metal work- ing, welding, and machines. The junior boys are special- ized in woodworking, machines, and welding. The senior boys do individual study in the field they desire. MR. FREDRUHE Industrial Arts I, II, III, and IV 34
