KIEL D. GAHRISON, Th. B. Missions Through 37 years of steady, thorough missionary endeav- or, Rev. and Mrs. Garrison labored toward the fulfill- ment ot one consuming ob- jective - to see the Indian Church on its feet. Incited by his parents and other soldiers of the cross, Mr. Garrison en- tered India in 1909 having graduated from Nyack the previous spring. To Mr. Garrison. missions is more than 10,000 miles or a trip to the Orient. For him it is a life-giving process which afforded pioneer min- istry and, through 14 years, the opportunity of cultivating within the hearts of Nyack students the feeling, purpose and need of missions. Now. 1959 closes a second phase of ministry. Though time and distance separate us, our lives will ever retain the imprint of two whose quiet, earnest, dedicated testi- : sr , Mr. and Mrs. Garrison monies inspired many to con- secrated missionary service. YE DID RUN WELL fr- ,s 'fll ...e....s., Another phase of Mr. Garrison's life is symbolized by a characteristic class shot. The Garrisons vacation in the vale of Kashmir during one of their terms in India. Page 21
