Perhaps the question arises in your mind, 'But where shall I go?' Jesus says, 'Go ye into all the worldl' When Jesus fed the multitude, is it conceivable that he would give a second portion to those in the first row before everyone, even those in the farthermost corners, had been served at least once? Lepers are the living dead who eke out a miserable existence from it by begging. ln a remote corner of this great field-the world, dwells a leper by the side of the road with bamboo matting as his only shelter. His face is deformed and swollen, ears and nose partly eaten away, feet and hands, for the most part, fingerless and toeless. He presents a ghastly spectacle of living death. Should you pass by, he cries, Unclean-unclean. There are few who care for his soul. Some may give him a morsel of food or throw alms at his feet, but then run away as fast as pos- sible.
