New China is not accepting ancient religions. They have nothing to replace them unless we take them Christ. We praise God that glorious harvests are being reaped in many sections, and the Christian youth of the land stand out as hopeful beacon lights. We are not the only force fighting for -China. Communism per- meates China. A young Chinese was taken by the Communists and cruci- fied, For two days, he hung on a cross. His aged father plead for the body. Not only was he refused, but he, too, was killed. - Yes, this is the midnight hour for China. Her greatest need is Christ. China calls to you. Will you answer that caII? Don't we often think of this land as one of oriental romance and mystery? Enclosed by the wes- tern mountain ranges, China is cradled alone, steeped in darkness with its superstitions, religions, and its own ori- ental customs which have remained with her through the centuries. The dragon is the national symbol of China and the badge of the imperial family. Thus we find the country of the Great Wall is grounded in practices of religion which are directed by the Devil, Serpent ot the World, against whom we have girded ourselves with the Sword ot God's Word.
