JW U' Wi. wi i DAVID was an educated young Indian, prosperous in his own business, who was restlessly un- happy in his way of life. Searching for improve- ment, he inquired! in Bombay and even sought a solution across the country in Calcutta. His in- evitable answer was the doubtful consolation that he was living a good life. Finally he attempted suicide by opium poisoning. David ate his sweet potion slowly as he rode northward on a train. Discovered unconscious at the railroad station in the city where a missionary had his headquarters, David was brought by a policeman to the mission compound. There he found our Lord as his Savior. After studying in a Bible school he was baptized. Although never a full-time worker, he still con- tinues with his Christian wife to be a faithful, earnest, and satisfied Christian.
