4 iff 'iw l H4 MABWAKA, the son of witchdoctor parents, was brought up in an environment of the black arts. His own name meant inability to die, but after his grandmother's decease he wondered if even the powers of the witchdoctors could spare him that end. When Mabawka heard a missionary's story, and believed in the true God, he started burning the idols of his relatives and friends, an action which brought on him the censure of the whole village. His own parents expelled him from home. After five years, however, his mother came to him and gave him the news that the witchdoctors them- selves of his own home town wanted the Word of God. Mabawka found one Christian in the village when he returned home, and soon many others of his friends had turned from their idols to serve the living God. Aimee is W
