I. is one of preparation for a future ministry. lt is a period of constantly taking in truth so that later on that truth may be given out to the millions of earth who are perishing for lack of it. lt is a seas-on of learning proceed- ures and methods for effectually presenting the Gospel in the in- terim before His return. , But though Nyack's young men and women are engrossed with the vision of the great harvest field they will soon enter for their life work, their eyes are open to the possibilities before them at the present time. Each week scores of them participate in a num- ber of activities for the Master, carrying out His command now to preach the Gospel to every creature. ' l From children wide-eyed with wonder at the world into which they have recently come to the white-haired filled with apprehen- sion as they near the precipice of eternity, the unsaved surrounding our Hillside are being told that the Lamb of God shed His blood to atone for their sins. I know the loving plans made for those classes. I think I understand the trembling first attempts. I watched them teach from the Book they love so well. I was proud to see them stand- ing before the youngsters as examples of Christian living, telling of a Christ who means everything to them. Patiently, persistently, tenderly they have dealt with human life. I know how they feel when they return to tell ofa child who has made way in his life for the Saviour. I know the joy that springs up from the heart of them. There is no thrill like this thrill. All else fades into the background. Soul-winning becomes a passion with them. This is a blessed life.
