EXQSH Th ere AebI Dr. Jaffray's ministries in South China, French Indo-China, N th rlands East Indies, his pioneer vision, his wise mis- ' h' untiring energy and the e e sionary statesmanship, his tender, loving spirit, is and zeal, and his Christlike life combine to make him one of the ' ' ' h' eneration. Of-him Dr. Griffeth best-loved missionaries of is g Thomas said many years ago: 'R. A. Jaffrey is one of the ten leading missionary statesmen in the world.' His deputation min- istries, his letters and editorial articles promoting the missionary work made him well known and much beloved by hundreds of thousands of earnest Christians throughout the world. A. C. SNIEAD REV. C. RUSSEL DEIBLER After graduating 'from Nyack and working in the home land, Russel Deibler went forth to Netherlands East Indies with the call of God upon his heart. A fellow missionary said of him, He served well the work in New Guinea that he helped to open. 'His death was a great loss to this field where he proved a faithful witness for the Lord. I have fought a good fight, I have fin- ished my course, I have kept the faithf' GRACE DITTMAR Grace Dittmar labored at Lahat, Sumatra, until forced to leave because of the war. She escaped to Java and from thence home, via Australia. Soon after her arrival, however, she died as I f ex osure on the journey. Her testimony and willing to those who have read a resut o p spirit to do the Lord's will is a challenge about and heard of her obedient service for the Master . . . he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life ever- Iastingf' REV. FRED C. JACKSON L 'n his wife in California to follow him later, Fred I dies to pilot the plane eavi g Jackson went to the Netherlands East n that was being used for the Lord's glory. He was not only a ' ' ' f zeal and with a burden for the lost ' ' b pilot but a missionary full o and dying. Although the plane was burned and his life taken y the enemy it can be said of Fred that he remained True to the Trust that was given him . . . Be thou faithful unto death, and ' ' of life. I will give thee a crown
