.Ai Through The Eyes of Lovew Through the hard work and dedication of Girls League, the 1983 Christmas Formal turned out to be a great success. This year's dance was held at the Costa Mesa Community Center. lt provided an intimate atmo- sphere as well as room to dance. The music was provided by the band Matrix and was enjoyed by all. The dance was culminated by the crowning of the 1983 Christmas Formal Queen, and King, Chuck Fon- tana and Shawn Morgan. Congratulations also go to the rest ofthe court: Junior Prince and Princess Brad Rolfe and Elissa Ryan, Sophomore Prince and Princess James Christil and Tina Otto, and Freshman Prince and Prin- cess Eric Philpott and Sheridan Carpenter. Everyone will agree that Field Day was a great success. Representatives from all classes competed to see which class was the best. Competition in egg toss, pyramid building and tug of war put student against student and class against class. In the end the seniors came out once again victorious in first place. The juniors placed second, freshmen placed third and the sophomores followed in last place. All in all the over all event was a day to remember.
