Choral Department has enjoyed increasing popularity in the past few years, both with the singers and their audiences. What began as a one-choir department has grown to four fine curricular choruses and two student-directed, extra-curricular singing groups. Though each of the choirs is best known by Mission Viejo residents for its participation in the Spring Concert, the groups also travel throughout Southern California, singing in music festivals. Lay-outs. Paste up. Copyreading. These are but a few of the daily trials and tribulations that the staffers of the Diablo Dispatch faced this year. Under the supervision of advisor Mr. Russ Williams, the Journalism students put out a total of twelve issues, including a special Christmas and end of the year edition. Student editorship changed hands in mid-term when first semester Editor-In-Chief Carole Cooper graduated early.
