Although the Mission Viejo High School Outposter's Chess Club is not well known around campus, their good reputation throughout Southern California chess tournaments increases with every match. Whitelaw, N. Taylor. The M.V.H.S. Math Club, under the sponsorship of Mr. Rogers, meets during lunch to discuss new formulas, ideas, and solutions. They are constantly searching for another school with which to compete. Just as enthusiastic in their undertakings, is Mr. MitcheIl's Engineering and Drafting Club which meets one morning a week from six to seven. Each member works on an individual project, discovering new angles, styles of architecture, and generally sharpening their pencil sketching skills. Many members take on the task .of raising animals.
