Saddleback Valley employers train the participants for occupations in the working world. The students earn school credits and wages in their on the job training while the employers fulfill the responsibility of giving tomorrow's work force direction. Money, Money, Money. All through the year there is one place the students can depend on for their latest school supplies and needs - the Diablo Emporium. Under the guidance of Mrs. Holston, the Diablo Emporium does their own buying. advertising. and selling, utilizing methods of operation a common retail store uses. Whitelaw, N. Taylor. The M.V.H.S. Math Club, under the sponsorship of Mr. Rogers, meets during lunch to discuss new formulas, ideas, and solutions. They are constantly searching for another school with which to compete. Just as enthusiastic in their undertakings, is Mr. MitcheIl's Engineering and Drafting Club which meets one morning a week from six to seven. Each member works on an individual project, discovering new angles, styles of architecture, and generally sharpening their pencil sketching skills.
