Freshmen Shoot 'Enn Up XOnce again Freshman Coach Chuck Greva molded young, undisciplined, basketball hopefuls into an efficient, run and gun, scoring machine. The Diablo frosh are always near the top of the league and this year was no exception. Jim Cumming was the Mission Machines' quarterback with his snap passes that led to easy baskets. It is the freshman and Coach Greva that provide the foundation of Mission Viejo's superb basketball program. Paced by Greg Gensichen and Mark Booth, the sophs still had a shot at the title and didn't let it go, even though they hit with 10 technical fouls in a showdown with San Clemente. Still, Coach Reid has once again developed some outstanding players that will help the 1976 JV and Varsity teams to future success. Well coach, what do we do now? asks a beffuddled sophomore team

Ace track man Wilbur Gregory is making short work of another set of opponents in an early meet. Kevin Conrad jumps for joy enroute to another victory in his event Another successful track team was turned out by Coach Bill Crow and his staff. As uaual. the Diablos were exceptionally talented in the races. Special mention should go to seniors Wilbur Gregory, Jon Cook, and Rich Henning. Outstanding .underclassmen were Greg Jones. Mike Walderhouse. and Lance Al Bayati. Overall, the Mission Machine blasted through almost all of their opponents, enroute to a sparkling record and a dazzling season on the 1975 track and field circuit.
