For Coach Bob Minier and his JV players, 1975 was a year of improvement. After winning only four games last year Coach Minier's Jayvees started to run, and win, more. Paced by Chris Ross, Craig Cunningham, Jim Schiado and Kurt Kosbab, this year's Junior Varsity, while not big winners, were contenders in almost every game. They represented Mission in a way we could be proud. Freshmen Shoot 'Enn Up XOnce again Freshman Coach Chuck Greva molded young, undisciplined, basketball hopefuls into an efficient, run and gun, scoring machine. The Diablo frosh are always near the top of the league and this year was no exception. Jim Cumming was the Mission Machines' quarterback with his snap passes that led to easy baskets. It is the freshman and Coach Greva that provide the foundation of Mission Viejo's superb basketball program.
