CLASS OFFICERS: EVERETT BROWN, Treasurerg IUDE KELLY, Secretaryg GENE BAKER, Presidentg BILL PARNELL, Vice President. Class advisors, Mrs. Van Haverbeke and Mr. Fitschen, accept Christmas gifts from the class, In September, 1959, the Seniors entered Mission High, three years after their first shy look at high school life. This year their outlook was entirely new as they realized that they were entering their final year at M, H, S, During this year the class enjoyed many experiences, On November 20, 1959, they presented their humorous class play, Rest Assured, directed by Mrs, Van Haverbeke. A K,Q, T, E, Radio sock hop was presented by the Seniors on December 19, and a record crowd attended. During the Christmas vacation the class got together for a hayride and dance, As they rode around singing carols, they knew they'd look back on this occasion with pleasure, In January, the Seniors won the high school polio drive with the most contributions toward that worthy cause. The Seniors were guests of the Juniors at the Prom on April 2 and the banquet on May 12. All of these, together with field trips, sock hops, and many other things helped to make the Seniors' last year a pleasant memory. They were not forgotten with the gradua- tion exercises on May 235 they are treasured experiences that will follow each person into the future. V ll
