-x J. p-1: I. Y he royalty of Club M.B. shone brightly on the day of our Home- coming, November 7, 1986. The Bucs encountered Kearny High School in a hard fought game. During half- time, the reigning queen of 1985, Lau- ra Thile, passed on her crown to Laura De Los Santos. When asked what she felt after the announcement of her name as the new Homecoming Queen, Laura De Los Santos replied, I saw stars and I was very happy that l repre- sented the first Mexican to be Home- coming Queen. The Homecoming Court also included the senior atten- dants, Sue Burden, Heather Stearns, Kori Rucker, and Michelle Linville, Q . with their escorts, Billy Olson, Kevin Alexander, Paul Meyers, and David Greene. Jamie Minton, the Junior at- tendant, Kristin Gullens, the Sopho- more attendant, and Trish Rogness, the Freshman attendant, comprised the rest of the court. Cars that ranged from Volkswagon Rabbits to a 1957 Thunderbird delivered the entire court to the football field. The cheerleaders' dance to Private Number and a sign that floated down from many balloons with Laura De Los Santos' name writ- ten on it culminated the half-time ac- tivities. Laura De Los Santos and the rest of Club M.B.'s royal court glim- mered brilliantly on their special day. A As half-time arrives, Dawna and Lori deliver the banner announcing the queen. 19 ,w ix., Enthusiastic fans show their vim and vigor. Homecoming Game 21 . 'C
