Although it ended in despair, the Bucs fought to the bitter end. The Buc ofense, led by Richie Shaw, Kevin Alexander, Lance Larson, and Kyle Ketchum, failed to score in this tough match-up, but they had some outstanding plays. The Buc defense, led by Ken Krause, Steve McEnroe and the really fantastic player Dan Millhouse, played a great game. When the final second ticked off the clock, the Komets had won the game with a score of Bucs 0, Komets 35. In the float competition the Seniors were victorious again with afloat theme of The Wizard of OZ. A Week of Life-Giving Force pirit week this year proved itseU'a great success. During the week of the countdown, the students all participated in daily events and thor- oughly enjoyed the week. The week end- ed with the rally, and the homecoming game and dance. A pie eating contest began the week with Richie Q... H - 4 Shaw and Lance Larson winning for the Seniors. John Kellvgg, ll junior, wears his sombrero with spirit. Students dressed loud in different fashions for Clash Day. ,fe i', Hg 5 .- Steve Smerdon pumps with power for the Seniors in the tricycle race.
