Freshmen are fascinated by the miniature voting machine used in citizenship classes. Very soon the freshmen became part of the crowd. Disliking to sit still, they enjoyed the vigorous exercise required in gym. They patiently read i'David Copperfield, learned to take the square root of polynominals and legally skipped school to visit the police department as a field trip in citizenship classes.

In the library the more industrious ones struggled with their first source theme, while the biologists thought they were experts because they knew the difference between a frog and a grasshopper.
