Busy Cavekids discovered facts about different occupations in many ways. They fired questions at people who have achieved similar goals and listened eagerly to what these people could tell them, They searched through books, took certain courses, joined clubs and held jobs to find more about the fields that interested them. After analyzing the facts they had gathered, they made the big decision and set out toward becoming everything from jet pilots to housewives. Vocational print shop boys learn skills they will need to become printers by setting type and printing most of the programs and forms for school. Assigned to write a story about Examining the equipment in a dentist's office, Bob Mogle asks about new teachers, Nancy Ostrowski the x-ray machine. Bob is particularly interested because interviews Mr. David Robertson. he expects to study dentistry in college,

Those who didn't think sitting paid well enough, clerked in stores-drug, grocery, clothing and dime- greased cars and filled empty gas tanks, gave music lessons in their home, worked at the public library, sold tickets at theaters or delivered newspapers. Many Cavekids worked in companies set up in the junior Achievement Center, ln tact, there were corporation presidents, secretaries, treasurers and stock holders everywhere.
