He was temporarily suspended for swallowing goldfish, much to the distress of his parents. 26 'iYou're the Cream in My Coffee, was one of the old songs revived in Mishawaka because of the Junior Play. The Palmer family, Arthur tGary Lowerj, Anna fJane Cox, Sharon Doylej, Sally fJanet Hemingerj and a proud college man, Larry QStu Fishmanl, watch with amusement while 18-year-old Evie chooses be- tween her two beaus, Charlie Hill and Johnnie Stone fPaul Danneker, Ron Showalterj. With a yellow Ford jalopy, painted slickers, short dresses, rolled-down hose, flapper bobs, and the song, Baby Face, the comedy achiev- ed the traditional color of a junior class musical. Parents in the audience remembered the styles, songs, and customs of the flapper era, the students discovered that Dad and Mom were kids once, too. Others in the cast were Sue Wolf, Nedra Miller, Barbara Meyerhoefer, Marti Crumb, Curtis Johnson, Jo Zimmer, and Tom Dosmann. Student director was Gretchen Morris.

'Foto Fiends' is cool. 'F-Stoppers' sounds better though. So went the argument to choose a name for the new camera club. One of six new clubs to be organized at Mishawaka High School this year, the camera club attracted 14 eager students as charter members. The shutter-bugs heard illustrated talks on the fun- damental whats, whens, and hows of taking snapshots. They learned that an S-curve makes a picture more artistic, that formal balance is dull, and that pictures should be framed by objects in the background. Members applied what they learned at meetings in special picture-taking assignments. They snapped pic- tures to enter in the high school photography contest, to cover the preparations for open house, and to por- tray Spring Comes to Mishawakaf' Meyerhoefer, Wilson, Zimmer, Myers, Warner, Erickson, Geyer, Hubble.
