0 ,N xx ! WWW These are times of confusion. Perhaps you high school students think that the older generation has let you down. In Mirando City they'have not let you down. Look around you and count your blessings The Auditorium Committee and generous citizens literally gave you a wonderful auditorium building. Another group of interested parents have seen to it that a new piano was purchased for this building. The new Elementary Building was used for its first full year. You, doing the work, together with the money furnished out of the personal pock- ets of your school board members and other big hearted citizens en- joyed the benefits of new athletic dressing rooms. Your high school building is being renovated this summer. These blessings, and others, for youth are going on elsewhere all over our nation. You have not been let down by your elders. They have given you instead examples to meet the challenges that confront you. They are doing so by means of what is called the American Way. It is your responsibility to meet these challenges by using this same American Way, thus bringing a state of order out of these confusing times. Grab hold of that great Mirando Spirit and get the job done. xx ff AV' rv
