Frosh-Soph gain experience for future. .. x,L, ANOTHER OPPONENT FALLS to Steve Milburn Qwho was undefeated this yearj, as he easily sub- dues this victim. This year the Miraleste Junior Varsity wrestlers came out 2nd place in league play. Although some wres- tlers lacked experience on the mat the J.V.'s succeeded in a winning season. Coaches Duffy Brelsford, and Art Warner perfected the wrestlers' talents during practice, and used swingmen from the soph-frosh team to fil the gaps in meets. This year's team will have much depth in the following years, because the Junior Varsity had 5 freshmen, and 4 sopho- mores on the roster. Outstanding J.V. wrestlers were Doug Foster at ll5, John Moss at 123, John Earnest at 130, Glen Martin at! 136, and Steve Milburn at 154 who was undefeated. The frosh-soph team which was injury riddled had a successful season. They' were all introduced to the fine art of wrestling, and were shown patented moves. This years team shows great expectations for the future, and many are expected to move up into the Junior Varsity to take up places left by graduating seniors, and J.V. mem- bers moving to Varsity.
