The Miraleste Junior Varsity Cross Country runners had another excellent year as the Harriers took another first place in league. Spearheading the Mar- f 0 auder pack were Marshall Harper, Todd Husted, Mario deCiutiis, and Greg Plakos. With this running combination the Marauders were very successful as they won every league meet and won nonleague of their meets. With some of the Varsity runners graduating the next Varsity team will probably consist mostly of seniors since most of the J.V. runners arejuniors. 'The Marauder Novice Cross Country runners had a fine year as the young runners captured first place in league with a record. Top runner for the Nov- ices was Gary Lucia who has Coach Henkel's high expectations as a good runner. Coach Henkel is hopeful that next year they will place first in league as they now have some experience and will be able to put it into good use next year asjunior varsity runners.
